Attention Class of 2025, cap and gown orders are happening online now at highschool.herffjones.com. The deadline to buy is December 31 so don’t wait.
The steps to buying are simple: Click on the link provided or HERE, which will take you to “Grad Gear and Apparel.¨ From there, scroll to “Grad Essentials,” select the “cap, gown, and tassel unit” for $30.00, and place your order. Keep the email receipt/order confirmation until caps and gowns are delivered. Ordering information is also available in the Class of 2025 Google Classroom under the Cap and Gown assignment.
The ordering process is straightforward. “It was fairly easy to buy and didn’t take very long,” said Claire Kent. “It took basically five minutes to order,” agreed Sarah Mathews.
However, be careful to ensure that all progress is saved before moving to the next step because the website sometimes doesn’t save, requiring you to re-enter your information.“My progress didn’t save twice,” said Clara Weigel when sharing her buying experience.
Don’t wait past the deadline because Herff Jones assesses late fees on purchases after the December 31 deadline. Students who feel they can’t pay for a cap and gown should contact Mrs. Connors, Ms. Rodemeyer, their school counselor, or any trusted adult to make arrangements. Their circumstances will remain confidential. “It’s very important to understand that we want all students who want to attend graduation to be able to, and we certainly don’t want the cost of a cap and gown to be the reason someone does not,” said Ms. Rodemeyer.
The Herff Jones site and flyer advertise many other items for sale in addition to caps and gowns. Such items include a variety of shirts, pants, accessories, and class rings. There is a $10 shipping fee on items ordered in addition to the basic cap, gown, and tassel.
Students who already have a cap and gown (maroon with white bands on the arms) or do not plan on attending graduation, please email Mrs.Connors at [email protected] to let her know. For any further questions contact either Ms. Rodemeyer or Mrs. Connors. Caps and gowns will be delivered May 30, 2025, in the gym during the Senior Picnic. Students will not be allowed to walk across the stage at graduation without a cap and gown; to ensure this doesn’t happen and to save money, buy before the deadline.
