ATTENTION OPHS! Tuesday, September 30, is the deadline to bring in non-perishable food items for this year’s Huddle for Hunger.
Please help us in our fight with FeedMore WNY against food insecurity in our own communities by making non-perishable goods and/or monetary donations by September 30th. Help us win and bring the Bills back for a special visit to OPHS!
Similar to last year, the food drive will be a class competition. Grade-labeled bins can be found in both the Freeman and Baker foyers. New to this year’s competition–classes can sabotage each other. Each can of food donated counts as +1 point towards a class’s standing, but classes can sabotage each other by placing non-canned goods in other class boxes. Each non-canned good is -1 point to a class standing.
The winning class gets a cotton candy party! The competition ends September 30th, so bring in your goods now!
