Fans witness another Bills Thriller in the snow

Postseason push. The Buffalo Bills kickoff in the snow to the Cincinatti Bengals in a crucial game for both teams. In week 14 of the NFL season, the 8-4 Bills hosted the 4-8 Bengals at Highmark Stadium where they were able to squeak out a 39-34 shootout win over the Bengals in an exciting matchup, featuring two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks. This was a major victory for the Bills as it keeps them alive in the AFC East divisional race and even gives them a push to obtain the first seed in the AFC.
Say You Will! The Bills sneak past the Bengals in a thrilling 39-34 come-from-behind victory in the snow. Though shaky at times, the game was flipped on its head after a 67 yard pick-six by Bill’s cornerback, Christian Benford. Josh Allen was also a monster this game, totaling 329 yards and 4 touchdowns, including a 40-yard rushing touchdown and a 17-yard rush on 3-and-15 to put the game on ice. The atmosphere in Highmark Stadium was electric, especially after the Bills started making plays down the stretch. Despite being down double digits multiple times, Josh Allen stated after the game that the result was “Never in doubt.” Following the win, the Bills moved to 9-4 and will play the division leading New England Patriots next week in Foxborough.

Beautiful Snowy Day. A deep red sunset spreads across a snowy neighborhood. Moments before capture, the sky was dull and gray like a normal winter in Buffalo. Minutes after, the sky shifted into a bright orange and pinkish color, catching the eyes of many. It drew in workers at the retirement home to the back door.

A rare sight! An incredible, bright Menaleus Blue Morpho butterfly is seen at the Butterfly Exhibit in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Many butterflies can be seen at this exhibit and in the midst of fluttering bugs, a stunning blue butterfly managed to have its photo captured.This butterfly is commonly found in the tropical forests of Central and South America. It’s a hard species to observe since they generally don’t like to be seen. They use their brown undersides to camouflage themselves and only flash their blue wings when warning predators or basking in the sun.

Zach Benson took time to connect with fans at the Sabres FanFest, signing hats and memorabilia with a smile. Excitement filled the arena as attendees got up close with one of Buffalo’s most promising young talents. Benson continues to make a name for himself, showing both skill on the ice and appreciation for the Sabres’ loyal fanbase.

Sunset Smiles. Kayla Crane enjoys a beautiful beach sunset on a March evening, during a month that was quite chilly. But this evening was different. The sun cast a soft glow on Kayla while she took in the beauty of the moment… a moment when warmth lingered—both in the air and in her smile. In a time of young adulthood, we have an incredible opportunity to enjoy and take advantage of everything that life has to offer. We must enjoy every beautiful moment, even the fleeting ones.

Maximum Effort. Orchard Park Quakers' varsity midfielder Geronimo Rubiano falls down while attempting a slide tackle during a home game under the lights. On this warm September night, the Quakers played the Lancaster Legends in a nail biting game, sadly losing 2-3 after letting in an untimely goal towards the conclusion of the second half. The Quakers finished the season with a record of 7-5 in league play. Even though midfielder Geronimo Rubiano was the only freshman on the varsity team, he had the second most goals on the team, scoring a total of 4 goals.

Kyoto Tower in Japan in the sun's setting light. The tower can be seen from anywhere in the city of Kyoto and stands high above all other buildings. The sunset made it golden and warm-toned, inspiring me to capture a picture while walking down the street.
