September 21, 2023, Orchard Park, NY--Sparks Fly! This is a Small Engine class in room 111 with Mr. Dewald. He is the only Small Engine teacher in the building, and his room is in the technology wing. This class is learning how to cut metal with a torch and to bend metal with a rosebud burner. Here Mr. Dewald is in action wearing his cowboy hat and glasses while cutting the metal. Cutting metal is a key step inlearning about the small engines. Not all classes are just sitting around being passive, but some classes offer hands-on learning.
