On Friday, February 27th, STAP Comm hosted its second annual Faculty Foosball event at OPHS. From 2:00-3:00, the gym was taken over for the fun-filled competition.
Divided into four teams wearing different colors and representing each grade level, faculty and staff members went head-to-head in a life-sized Foosball game. To mimic a Foosball table setup, players were stationed at ropes with pool noodles attached, using the noodles to slide back and forth along the rope for movement.
Students filled the bleachers with waves of color representing their grade level’s team.
“Watching the faculty Foosball game was so much fun, because everyone was cheering, the energy was high, and every big play had us on the edge of our seats,” said Sophomore Leighten N.
In the end, the Sophomore team won through amazing goals, blocks, and participation. However, all four teams demonstrated remarkable determination, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the event. Thank you to all faculty and staff members who contributed, as well as to the students who came out to show their support. If you missed this year’s event, be sure to keep an eye out next year for another opportunity to cheer on your favorite faculty and staff members.
